I always knew I wanted to be a teacher & being a parent gave me the platform to be the most influential teacher to the most important students in my life. So, how does a former teacher turn mom keep the teacher spark alive? She creates, makes messes, survives a daily grind & tries to sneak in educational moments for the little ones. Sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn't, but just adding hugs & kisses makes everything better.

Under the weather doesn't mean you can't learn...(mixing colors)
Gianna and I were not feeling so great today, and I needed to find an activity to keep her entertained! I decided to teach her all about mixing colors! Super duper easy and kept her busy for over a half hour- mommy win! I took a ziplock bag, added some shaving cream & food coloring and PRESTO- color mixing at it's finest!! We made letters, and numbers, practiced our counting and just had F-U-N (yes, I did spell that out in the mixture). We also learned that blue and red make purple, today's color mixing lesson. I see a bunch of this fun experiment ahead for the week!
